Following the change of host, the 32nd AFC General Assembly has authorized the AFC management to expedite the bidding process and set strict terms and conditions for the global search for a new host.
Member associations wishing to bid will be required to submit a letter of intent, and after a competitive bidding process, the AFC management will present a detailed report and a selection of recommendations to the Executive Committee. Based on the report, the AFC Executive Committee will make a decision on the new host of the 2023 Asian Cup.
It is worth noting that the deadline for submission of the letter of intent to bid is set for June 30, 2022. (Liu Shuitu, ed.)
