On social media, the Korean Football Association (KFA) announced on the evening of June 27 that tickets for the match between South Korea and Chile were sold out, following the June 4 clash with Brazil, which triggered a rush for tickets.

In just a few hours from 5pm on the day, all tickets for this exciting showdown were snapped up.

Recall that on the 25th, the sale of tickets for the South Korea vs. Brazil match inspired great enthusiasm among fans, and the server of the booking website was instantly paralyzed by a whopping 740,000 visitors. The Korean Football Association (KFA) had to personally intervene, apologize to the public, and negotiate closely with the booking site in an effort to quickly resolve the issue. We did our best to ensure the smooth operation of the ticketing system, and even raised the maximum number of booking pages from 100,000 to 320,000, but the 740,000 visits exceeded the server's capacity," said an KFA official. I apologize to the many fans who have experienced difficulties in purchasing tickets. We are in constant communication with Interpark and are striving to ensure that the ticketing process is smooth and hassle-free for fans."

South Korea's clash with Chile will take place on June 6 at 8 p.m. at the Daejeon World Cup Stadium, which has a capacity of about 40,000 spectators. Ticket booking for the June 10 match against Paraguay, meanwhile, will begin at 5 p.m. on the 30th, and as for the June 14 match against Egypt, ticket information will be announced separately at that time.
