On May 27, China's Football Association released a detailed arrangement on the follow-up work of Chongqing Two Rivers Athletic Football Club's withdrawal from the Chinese Super League. While stating that Dalian Ren and Shanghai Jiading Huilong will enter the Chinese Super League and the Chinese First Division in the new season, the Association also decided to open a domestic temporary transfer window, aiming at assisting Chongqing Liangjiang Athletic's players to find new job opportunities. In response to this arrangement, the new Beijing News reporter linked to the German transfer market website China administrator Zhu Yi, to which the temporary transfer window added details for in-depth analysis.
Under the topic of "temporary windows", Zhu Yi emphasized a key point:
Each club is limited to a maximum of three additional players and must maintain a reasonable percentage of the roster
.. The opening of a dedicated temporary transfer window is especially necessary given Chongqing Two Rivers Athletic's sudden announcement of its withdrawal from the Chinese Super League and dissolution of the team after the transfer window closed. Zhu Yi made a suggestion on social media platforms that teams should allow a limited number of players to make up for the announcement (personally, I would suggest no more than three), and that it should be limited to players who have transferred from Chongqing Two Rivers Athletic.
Zhu Yi pointed out that if there is no restriction on the number of additional enrollment quotas, once a team introduces a large number of former Chongqing Two Rivers Athletic players, it will be unfair to the original players being replaced. Fortunately, the Football Association in the additional temporary transfer window at the same time, but also stipulates that the Chinese Super League, China A, China B clubs during this period can be additional registration of up to three former Chongqing players, and does not count as the number of the league's first registration. Zhu Yi believes that this number of proportion is reasonable, in 35 people accounted for less than one-tenth, even if there are players may be removed from the list as a result, the proportion is very small.
Meanwhile, the employment situation of players is also of great concern. Influenced by a variety of factors, the general environment of the Chinese Super League, the Chinese First Division and the Chinese Second Division is generally unsatisfactory, and most of the clubs are facing financial problems. In such a background, the players' choice of clubs is much narrower than before. Zhu Yi said that many players who used to play in the third-tier professional leagues have set their sights on the Chinese Champions League, which has many new teams with healthier funding and business conditions. At the same time, the "five-year contract" that was common in the past is gradually disappearing, and most players choose to sign with their clubs once a year, or at most once every two years. Zhu Yi believes that this is the players' self-protection, reflecting their lack of confidence in the club. At present, the domestic security of the player's termination is not ideal, if the player signed a long contract, and the club has problems and does not release, the termination of the contract will be very troublesome.
According to the Football Association's timing regulations for the temporary transfer window, the first phase of the registration list for the Chinese Super League teams will not be finalized until after the opening match. The answer will be revealed on June 10 as to how many Chongqing players who suffered a change of heart before the season will be able to rejoin the squad in the Chinese Super League.
