The 2022 Chinese Super League season will kick off on June 3 in the three major cities of Haikou, Meizhou and Dalian, and the tournament will be divided into four stages. The specific dates are June 3 to July 12, July 21 to August 21, August 30 to September 30, and October 9 to November 9, for a total of 10+8+8+8 rounds of matches.
Regarding the schedule of the FA Cup, Guo Bingyan revealed that the FA Cup matches are planned to be played after the league tournament, which will also be held in the country during the Qatar World Cup.
In response to the question of whether home and away matches will be resumed this year, Shi Qiang responded that the original plan to resume home and away matches was changed to the match system due to the epidemic.
