Talking about his situation after returning to Brazil, Exxon revealed, "Oscar was curious and asked how come he didn't see me playing in Gremio, Hulk was also concerned and asked why I was still missing after practicing for more than a month, so I explained the situation to them in detail."
"At the time I was faced with two options, a long-term contract or a short-term one, and in the end we decided together to go for the latter. I've been away from Brazilian soccer for a long time and I don't know if I'll be able to adapt quickly, but I want to make sure that I don't disappear from the attention of the Chinese fans, the coaching staff and the media through this year of relentless hard work and outstanding performances. I am eager for the opportunity to return to the national team squad."
Speaking about his personal health, Ackerson said, "My physical condition has not yet returned to its best, as I had to work out alone due to the irregular training over the previous three months.
