Chongqing Liangjiang Athletic FC (Zeng Lifan, Present World FC) Farewell Statement

With the helplessness and grief of the reality, as the team's head coach, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all the partners who fought alongside the team, as well as to the passionate Chongqing fans and soccer fans all over the country.

Looking back at the consecutive farewells from 2020 to 2021, our players, staff and the entire team have worked together through countless difficult moments, especially when faced with the challenge of securing the basic cost of living, as well as those who have quietly dedicated themselves as restaurant servers, stadium janitors, laundresses, and so on, to whom I extend my sincerest respect and gratitude.

The resilience, hard work and dedication shown by all members of the Chongqing team have transmitted countless positive energies to the society. May the spirit of the Chongqing team continue and let soccer become a symbol of "one team, one family".

I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to the Chongqing Municipal Government, the Sports Bureau, the Jinsheng Group, the government of Liangjiang New District, and the majority of Chongqing fans. I hope that each of us can have a healthy and happy life and continue to love soccer. Also, I would like to thank you for your trust and support to me and my team members.
