On May 16, according to the official microblog of China's women's football team, the team recently announced the second phase of the 2022 annual training lineup, in which Wang Frost, a star player absent from the Women's Super League this season, successfully returned to the team.

It is reported that China's women's soccer team plans to conduct a build-up training at Mission Hills World Soccer Training Base in Haikou from May 19 to June 6 to prepare for the upcoming East Asia Cup tournament to be held in Japan in July. This is the team's second journey to an international competition after winning the Asian Cup in February. Immediately after, the national team will also travel to Europe for a training tour to prepare for the Women's World Cup to be held in New Zealand and Australia next year.

Wang Frost missed the first two stages of the Women's Super League season due to injury. Wu Haiyan, the core of the back four who also missed the Asian Cup due to injury, joins the team's returning lineup.
