Our women's basketball team, a fearless and record-breaking team, continues to surprise us with its tenacity and hard work.
From the Asian Games and Asian Championship titles to the runner-up glory of the World Championships and the Olympics, China's women's basketball team is ranked in the top eight in the international rankings, the top of Asia. In the Tokyo Olympics, they even defeated the mighty Australia, as well as Spain, ranked second in the international rankings, and Belgium, ranked fifth. 2022, FIBA Women's Basketball international rankings, China's women's basketball team climbed to the seventh, the second in Asia.
Despite failing to win the Asian Cup in recent editions, their hard work and dedication is evident for all to see, so let's look forward to their future breakthroughs.
II. The Soul of Resilience: Our Women's Volleyball Team
Since its inception, China's women's volleyball team has been in the spotlight, has a broad mass base, and its spiritual strength has even been enshrined in textbooks.
Through the glory and trough, China's women's volleyball team had long occupied the first international position. However, it suffered a setback in the Tokyo Olympics, and its ranking once dropped to the third place in the world. However, the women's volleyball team has always been resilient, and I believe that they will be able to stand on the international peak again.
Their spirit of defiance, perseverance and hard work will inspire countless others to go forward.
III. The Rose: our women's soccer team
Our women's soccer team was once ranked in the top five internationally and has never fallen out of the top twenty.
In the latest FIFA Women's National Team Rankings released by FIFA 2022, China's women's soccer team moved up three places to 16th internationally, overtaking South Korea to return to the top four within Asia.
Compared with the men's soccer team, our women's soccer girls showed a more tenacious fighting spirit.
In this year's Asian Cup, they proved their strength by reversing the South Korean team to win the championship. Their resilience and never-say-die spirit deserves the admiration and praise of each and every one of us.
