Last week, Captain Q learned from a reliable source that clubs have been told that the FA will soon meet to study the return of the reinforcement adjustment fee. This huge sum of over one billion dollars, which has been sitting idle in the FA's account for many years, has now become a lifesaver in the eyes of the clubs.
Since September last year, Guangzhou, Guoan and other clubs have made a request to the Football Association to return the reinforcement adjustment fee. In recent years, many of the Chinese Super League clubs in financial difficulties, hoping that the Football Association to return the year charged by the attraction adjustment fee, in order to alleviate the pressure on the club. There are even clubs proposed: part of the return, in order to solve the pressing problem.
On March 29th and 31st, Captain Q wrote two articles focusing on the club's request for reinforcement adjustment fee (reading recommendations are attached to this article). At that time, due to the national team is still participating in the last match of the twelfth round, the club did not get a clear answer from the FA.
Captain Q learned that since the start of the attraction adjustment fee in 2017, the FA has also considered using the funds and discussed it at the executive committee meeting. However, at that time, most of the executive committee of the Football Association is the person in charge of sports bureaus around the world, the bottom line of the policy to adhere to, the meeting was denied. Therefore, this huge sum of money has been in a "sealed" state.
In late March this year, the State Administration of Market Supervision sent staff to visit the Football Association on the issue of fee compliance, promoting the Association to clean up some unreasonable and illegal fees in history. Among them, it includes the reinforcement adjustment fee that has no basis in law and the FA can't issue an invoice.
The club was informed by the relevant staff that the Football Association will return the news of reinforcement adjustment fee, but because the leadership of the Football Association did not all return to Beijing, there is no way to discuss this matter, so for the time being there is no official official statement.
After the rumor of returning the attraction adjustment fee, the specific repayment arrangement of the Football Association is not yet clear. At present, due to the epidemic prevention and control needs, the Association is in a state of full home office. It is reported that the Association needs to wait until the current epidemic prevention and control situation improves, the staff can go to work normally, in order to study the relevant issues.
This time, hopefully, the clubs involved won't have to wait too long.
