On the night of May 6, Cao Yang, general manager of Meizhou Hakka Football Club, revealed in an interview on the evening sports news program of Guangdong Sports Channel that the city of Meizhou will have the right to host the first stage of the Chinese Super League.
General Manager Cao Yang further elaborated in the interview, "The preparations for the Meizhou home stadium are progressing quite smoothly, for which we are especially grateful to the Meizhou Municipal Government and the Wuhua County Government for their help. Although the specific competition arrangements have not yet been announced to the public, Meizhou has already become one of the key regions in the first phase of the tournament system. We are actively communicating and collaborating with all parties in terms of venue renovation, accommodation and catering services. With the successful experience of hosting the previous Chinese League A match system, I believe that hosting the Chinese Super League this time will undoubtedly be an improvement in service quality. At present, the turf of Wuhua Olympic Sports Center has been resurfaced and is ready for use. In addition, the lighting renovation of Meixian's Zeng Xianzi Stadium is also proceeding as planned, and we have also prepared an alternate venue - Venue 9 in Soccer Town."
