When the number of drafted players reaches four or more, the maximum number of non-foreign players that a Super League club may play in each match during the draft period is three; for a League One club, it is one. At the same time, the total number of club enrollments may be increased by a corresponding number.
If a U-23 player is injured during a call-up and is examined by the national team doctor and approved by the Chinese

After returning to the club with the approval of the Association, he/she will still be considered as a drafted player until he/she recovers from the injury. The same applies to U-23 players playing in overseas leagues.

In order to strengthen the training of national team reserve talents, fully prepare for the 19th Asian Games Men's Football Competition in Hangzhou, and balance the interests of clubs and players, after in-depth study and extensive consultation with all parties, the following is the notice on the policy related to U-23 players of the Professional League for the 2022 season:
I. Appearance policy
Clubs must ensure that at least one U-23 player is present in the 2022 Chinese Super League and Chinese First Division.
II. Reduction and exemption policy
(i) Selection to national teams
If a Chinese Super League or Chinese League club has a player selected for the U-23 national men's soccer team, its club may not implement the policy of U-23 players' appearance during the preparation, competition and quarantine period of epidemic prevention.
(ii) Players playing overseas
Chinese Super League and Chinese First Division clubs that have players who have been selected for the U-23 national men's soccer team and played for overseas clubs, by the Chinese
national soccer team
After the Association's determination, its club may not implement the U-23 player appearance policy during the player's overseas stint and during the quarantine period after his return.
III. Compensation policy for multi-human recruitment
Chinese Super League and Chinese First Division clubs that have been called up by the U-23 national men's soccer team for more than two people in the 2022 season will be eligible for the Multiple Call-Up Compensation Policy.
The increase in enrollment should be completed during the transfer registration window.
(i) Recruitment of two persons
Clubs that are drafted two may add one to their total enrollment.
(ii) Recruitment of three persons
Clubs that are called up three may add two to their total enrollment.
(iii) Recruitment of four (or more) persons
Super League clubs called up with four or more players may increase the total number of entries by N-1 for a maximum of three non-foreign players per game.
The maximum number of non-foreign players who may play in each game for a Central League club that has been called up with four or more players is one, and the total number of entries may be increased by N-1.
IV. Other notes
(i) Injuries (illnesses)

Returning to the club after the approval of the Association, he/she is still considered a drafted player until he/she recovers from the injury.
(ii) Early termination of recruitment
If a U-23 player leaves the team early during the call-up period for non-injury reasons, the club will no longer be entitled to the reduction policy from the next league round following the player's departure.
(iii) End of recruitment
U-23 players who leave the team after the end of the call-up period will no longer be eligible for the club's reduction policy from the next league round following the player's departure.
