The much-anticipated Chinese Super League saw 18 powerhouses successfully qualify for the tournament, with Hebei and Chongqing Liangjiang Athletic making the cut. Newly promoted teams Wuhan Sanzhen, Meizhou Hakka, Zhejiang and Chengdu Rongcheng also made it into the league.
For the Central League, 18 teams stood out, and it's worth noting that Qingdao, who were relegated last year, and Guizhou, who were in the Chinese Super League, were not spared, and in their place, Beijing Institute of Technology and Xinjiang managed to be passed over to qualify for the tournament.
