On April 22, Beijing time zone, heavy news came from Soccer News that the National Football Association of China (NFA) is stepping up its efforts to resolve key issues ahead of the launch of the new professional league season. To that end, the Arbitration Committee is swiftly dealing with the disputed cases of a group of top international players, all of whom have filed for arbitration on the grounds of unpaid wages by their clubs and are seeking free agency.

It has been revealed that the international players involved in this dispute include Jiang Guangtai, Gao Junyi, He Chao, Dai Weijun and many other well-known players. Despite the fact that they all filed for arbitration due to the club's unpaid wages, the FA has announced that it can suspend the unpaid wages and allow the players to register normally. How this decision will affect the outcome of the free agency arbitration for the aforementioned international players will undoubtedly trigger a series of chain reactions.

Soccer Daily points out that if we refer to the principle of the previous free agency ruling between Guangzhou and Tianjin Jinmen Tiger due to unpaid wages, all the complaining players will be granted free agency. However, if the latest access rules are followed, all players will not be able to obtain free agency.

However, while stating that it would show love and support to the international players and allow them to be free, the FA executives did not issue an official document clarifying the applicable rules. This approach put the Arbitration Committee in a dilemma. The decision to expedite the arbitration was also divided within the arbitration department.
