Under the strict implementation of anti-epidemic measures, the members of the Chinese men's football delegation were released from quarantine on April 24th after undergoing "14 + 7" days of medical quarantine observation. From noon today, they will be gradually withdrawn from their hotels in Haikou City and return to their respective regions. The core members of the Chinese Men's Football Association's working group are scheduled to return to Beijing en masse on the 25th after observing the warm-up match between the U23 national football team and Changchun Yatai at noon on the 24th. The end of this assembly marks the official conclusion of the Chinese men's football team's journey to the Qatar World Cup qualifiers.
According to the original plan, the U23 national football team and Changchun Yatai played a warm-up match on April 24 at 11:00 p.m. at Wuyuanhe Stadium in Haikou. Given that the day is the national football team and the U23 delegation to complete the "14 + 7" days of isolation, the game was arranged here, which is also the venue that has hosted the national football warm-up match.
The stalwarts of the Association's working group were also there to watch the game as a group, which was their last group activity during their quarantine. And just the day before, the members of the working group had a friendly soccer match at the Mission Hills base before they were released from quarantine. Over the past year or so, their experience of playing with the team in the Qatar World Cup qualifiers, especially the long hours of collective life and operations in a closed environment, has left a deep imprint on their hearts.
It is reported that from the afternoon of the 24th, some players of the Chinese team left the resident hotel one after another and returned to their hometowns. Due to the differences in epidemic prevention policies around the country, some players temporarily unable to return home, or delayed the return date. Those players whose families are located in Shanghai, some of them are preparing to return to Shanghai through Beijing, and some of them are temporarily staying in Hainan waiting for the club's notice. Most members of the Association's working group, including the Association's main leaders, are scheduled to return to Beijing on the 25th.
As of the morning of April 24, the CFA and CFF have not yet clarified the schedule for the start of the new season of professional leagues at all levels and the specific scheduling arrangements, so the international players will not immediately follow the clubs into the preparation for the new season of the league, but rather, they will have the opportunity to spend a rare period of time with their families.
