
The 2022 East Asian Cup soccer schedule has been announced for the first time, and China's men's soccer team will face South Korea, Hong Kong, China and Japan on July 20, 23 and 27 in turn. And our women's soccer team will also compete with Chinese Taipei, South Korea and Japan respectively.
It is reported that the Chinese Football Association (CFA) plans to send the U23 national team to participate in this East Asian Cup as a preparation exercise for the Hangzhou Asian Games.
Originally, the East Asian Cup was scheduled to be held in our country, but due to the epidemic, we decided to give up our host status. There were rumors that Japan would become the next host and hold the tournament, however, the epidemic situation in Japan is also not optimistic. South Korean media revealed that South Korea's attitude towards hosting the tournament is very positive, and is expected to become the host site, but there is no official news to confirm.
