29-year-old soccer star Ortiz, a youth product of Atlético Madrid, stepped into the Indian Super League scene in 2020, joining Goa. Over the past two seasons, he has accumulated 36 appearances, scoring 14 goals and contributing eight assists; in 2021, he played five games for Goa in the AFC Champions League, scoring a solitary goal.
Ortiz was excited about joining Sichuan Jiuniu:
