The entry threshold for the new season has been crossed by salons, but the deadline for submitting entry permits has been unexpectedly delayed for two reasons: firstly, the start of the new season has been delayed quite a bit compared to the Chinese Super League and the Chinese League A; secondly, in order to avoid a situation similar to the one that happened to some salons halfway through the previous season, the CFA and the CFL preparatory group have stipulated that each participating salon in the Chinese League B has to pay a guarantee deposit of RMB 600,000 (USD 1,000,000), which is the same as that of last season. One of the industry insiders said bluntly. An industry insider said bluntly, "If you can't even pay this deposit, how can you believe that these salons can operate normally?"

At present, the Chinese Football Association and the Chinese Football League preparatory group in the professional league on the matter of the opening of the first task is to confirm as soon as possible the opening schedule and the results of the selection of the district. It is reported that on the eve of the league meeting on the 3rd, the CFA preparatory group sent an investigation team has departed from Beijing, went to Hangzhou, and plans to complete the investigation of Hangzhou City and Meizhou City, the two Chinese Super League candidate cities within this week. The inspection includes various aspects such as game and training venues, reception capacity of the tournament area, broadcasting conditions of the tournament, transportation and security, and so on. Next, the preparatory team will also investigate the alternative playgrounds for the Chinese League A and Chinese League B.

As of April 5, the tournament organizers still have not clarified which candidate cities will specifically host the Chinese Super League matches. This is due to the recent rebound of the epidemic in many parts of China, some professional league salons registered even more serious epidemic. Under such circumstances, the work of organizing the tournament is facing many uncertainties and challenges. Once the ideal candidate cities are unable to host the tournament due to force majeure factors, the organizers will have to activate the contingency plan. This shows that the survey and other preparations are full of unknowns and the workload is enormous.

According to the previous communication between CFA and CFF, the new season of Chinese Super League was planned to start later this month, i.e. on April 28th or 29th. However, the implementation of this plan has become increasingly difficult due to factors such as the epidemic and the delayed return of the national team. According to the anti-epidemic regulations, the national football team and U23 national football players who have arrived in Haikou will not be released from quarantine until the 24th of this month at the earliest, and then return to their respective places. They usually need at least a few days of rest and recuperation. As a result, the Chinese Super League may be delayed until early May at the earliest, i.e., the official start of the season after the May 1 International Labor Day holiday.
