On the night of the 31st, Wang Frost was happy to mention her personal fourth China's women's Golden Ball Award, and she revealed that the key to China's women's soccer team's rebound lies in the coach's adjustments, and her personal plan to stay in the ocean is also quietly brewing.
What is striking is that the top three of this year's China Women's Golden Ball Award (Wang Frost, Tang Jiali, Shen Mengyu) all have experience playing overseas. Talking about the future, Wang Frost revealed that she will work hard to recover from injuries and adjust her condition. "The plan to stay overseas has always been in my heart, it's just that the time has not yet come." Wang Frost's tone is firm.
For Wang Frost, the past year can be said to be "peaks and valleys": in April last year, she was competing with South Korea for the Tokyo Olympic Games ticket, the second half of the assist and overtime long-distance shooting to help China's women's football team reversed the rivalry; in November last year, in the Women's Premier League title fight, again Wang Frost's two goals, to help Wuhan Chegok River reversed the title; Tokyo Olympic Games group exit, once people thought China's women's football into the "trough period", but just a few months after the Women's Asian Cup, China's women's football in the semi-finals and finals of the consecutive reversal of Japan, South Korea, after 16 years again won the Asian Cup trophy.
Wang Frost believes that the arrival of head coach Shui Qingxia is the key to the rapid rise in the condition of our women's soccer team. "After Shui came to the team, we made a lot of adjustments at the psychological level because she was a former women's soccer player and understood our psychological condition after the Tokyo Olympics. In addition to teaching techniques and tactics in training, she also cares about us in life like a 'water mother'." Wang Frost said with emotion.
China's women's soccer team has gained more and more support in recent years. In Wang Frost's opinion, non-national female players should also get more attention. "The most important thing is for more people to understand women's soccer and realize that besides the national team, there are many girls playing in the league."
Wang Frost, who also followed the Beijing Winter Olympics, said, "The media reported on Jia Zongyang's injuries, and this athlete is really not easy, still insisting on (chasing) his dream at this age, which touched me a lot."
She was also impressed by the sunny confidence shown by the female athletes of our delegation. "I think girls should first be confident and then recognize themselves," Wang Frost said, "No matter what the result of the competition looks like, you are the best and the most beautiful."
Wang Frost's words were full of expectations for the future, as she looked forward to China's women's soccer team blossoming on more international stages, while also expecting more female players to receive attention and support.
