In the team's equity reform storm, the original coveted Guangzhou team equity Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Group and Evergrande Group failed to reach a consensus, the new season of the Guangzhou team will continue to be fully owned by the Evergrande Group.
According to Guangzhou Daily, the team is scheduled to assemble on March 6 for the new season. In light of the departure of last season's core players, the newly formed Guangzhou team will be made up of AFC Champions League participants born in '01 under Coach Liu Zhiyu, and incorporate some of the young talent newly promoted from the soccer academy.
