As night falls, a family in a neighboring community catches a strange sound in the silence, as if it were holiday firecrackers, but it causes quite a ripple. The resident's young son, however, mistook it for a gunshot, and tension instantly filled the air. Behind this image, a tense search for evidence was underway on the streets of Vancouver on February 21st. Sharp on the trail of clues, police officers zeroed in on a white BMW SUV parked on Discovery Street. The front windshield of the vehicle was tightly covered with a blue tarp, a cordoned-off area was marked out with police tape around it, and several conspicuous yellow evidence markers were scattered on the ground. Steve Addison, the commander on the scene, revealed that the Emergency Response Team police were in place and they were concerned that there may be unknown victims. It turned out that one of the victims was inextricably linked to a house in the area. Police have conducted a thorough search of the house, but as of yet, no valuable leads have been found. It is still too early to comment on the motives for why the two women were abused.Steve Addison said, "The investigation is at an early stage. At this time, we are unable to disclose the activities they were involved in or any further details." Fournier, a resident who frequents the neighborhood, is no stranger to the white SUV, "They always park there." However, he had no information about the owner, "We occasionally mention the dog in that car that won't stop barking."
