
On the spring-like February 23, well-known media personality Li Zhenbo shared on his social media platform the official letter released by the National Football Association on the resumption of the home-and-away system for the 2022 season of professional leagues. It is reported that the home and away system will be resumed for the 2022 season in the Chinese Super League, the Chinese First Division and the Chinese Second Division.

To all Chinese Super League, Chinese First Division and Chinese Second Division clubs, and all relevant member associations:
In order to comprehensively enhance the tournament arrangement of the professional league for the 2022 season, strengthen the attention and influence of the league after the epidemic, and promote the construction of the environment for the survival and development of the league and the clubs, the National Football Association (NFA) plans to launch the home and away match system of the Chinese Super League (CSL), the Chinese First Division (CFD) and the Chinese Second Division (CSB) for the 2022 season based on the normalized preventive and control measures of the epidemic in April. The relevant matters are notified as follows:
I. Clubs and member associations of the place of registration are required to jointly report to the local government for support and assistance in epidemic prevention work and tournament organization in the home tournament area, and submit a written confirmation of hosting form (Annex 1) with official seal to the National Football Association in accordance with the specified time, and subsequently submit the letter of consent from the relevant departments of the government of the place of the tournament;
Second, each club's home match area must meet the requirements for the work of the home match area of the 2022 Pro League (Annex 2), including but not limited to the specific arrangements and management of home matches by the Member Association of the place of registration, the requirements for the main match area, the requirements for the backup match area, and the requirements for the training ground;
