Yesterday, China's Football Association held the second event of its 11th General Assembly in the city of Chengdu. During the congress, the work report, financial report and the adjustment report of the executive committee members of the association were considered and approved, and three new partners, including the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps Football Association, were formally welcomed to join the association.
At the meeting, Chen Xuyuan, Chairman of the Football Association, delivered a speech entitled Work Report of China's Football Association. He put forward three points for this year's work focus: first, unswervingly implement the overall program of China's soccer reform and development, deeply analyze the reality of the dilemma of China's soccer development, and swiftly sort out the key issues hindering the progress of China's soccer.
Secondly, it is committed to promoting the steady growth of professional leagues and clubs, actively preparing for the establishment of the China Federation of Professional Football Clubs, which has the qualification of an independent legal person, promoting the reform of the shareholding of professional clubs, optimizing the industrial policy and the distribution of revenues, and striving to achieve a balanced balance of revenues and expenditures of clubs in a short period of time.
Thirdly, we will make great efforts to promote the popularization of youth soccer and the cultivation of professionals, and join hands with the General Administration of Sport and the Ministry of Education to formulate a blueprint for the development of youth soccer nationwide, so as to further broaden the road of combining sports and education.
Fourth, strengthen the construction and management of the national team, based on the guidance of the Leading Group of Preparation Work, formulate a detailed preparation plan for the remaining men's World Preliminary Round 12, the Women's Asian Cup, the Hangzhou Asian Games and the 2023 Asian Cup and other major tournaments, coordinate the protection against epidemics with the preparatory work, and make every effort to ensure that the participation goal is reached.
Fifth, deepen the reform of the institutional mechanism of the Association and promote the development of member associations. Sixth, strengthen the overall construction of the Association with the party construction as the lead. Seventh, continue to promote the preparations for the Asian Cup.
