Since the departure of the Guangzhou team, Cannavaro idle at home, recently in an interview with the Italian media "TMW", he fondly recalled the years of coaching in our country, called an unforgettable journey.
Talking about his personal coaching career, Cannavaro lamented, "People only remember me as a player, but now that I've turned into a coach, I'm a new person in the soccer world. In the past I might have laughed at myself: 'Are you crazy, I can't be a coach', but today, my passion for this career has overwhelmed me."
"Over the years, I have committed myself to many positive things. Coaching one of Asia's top teams in my country has been an unparalleled and wonderful experience, both on and off the pitch. I taught them the finer points of European soccer and was involved in the construction of Evergrande's new stadium. Now back in Italy, I am fortunate to be reunited with my family and am looking forward to an offer from a European team." So expressed Cannavaro.
Cannavaro revealed that he has received numerous offers, including from teams in the United States, but he intends to observe for a while longer, "I left Italy in 2006 and my experience abroad has allowed me to grow. I have retained the philosophy of Italian soccer and gained experience of foreign soccer and I am eager to find a team that will allow me to continue coaching, either in Italy or England."
Finally, Cannavaro spoke about former owners Juventus, "Juve paid the price for Cairo's departure. Superstars allow their teams to make some mistakes, which their goals can cover up, and Cairo is that kind of player. If Dybala and Junior Chiesa can step up, Juve can make up for Crowe's departure."
