On Nov. 4, Jiang Liang, captain of China's China League One powerhouse Guizhou, publicly released a letter of request for help, revealing that the club has failed to pay salaries for two consecutive years, and that most of the bonuses and performance incentives for the past three years have also failed to be paid. According to internal sources, the accumulated salary arrears amounted to nearly 100 million yuan, which is the responsibility of the club's beautiful head Wen Xiaoting.

Jiang Liang angrily voiced on Weibo, "Two years long salary arrears, the club promised again and again, but always broke faith with us. Nonetheless, the team still went all out in the three legs of the Central League this year, and the players insisted on playing well in every game, holding on to the dignity of Guizhou soccer."
