On November 3, our national soccer team started two intense and exciting warm-up matches in Shanghai. They played against the Chinese Super League powerhouse Shenzhen at the Shanghai Houpaier Training Base, and against the Chinese First Division team Zhejiang at the Pudong Yuanshen Soccer Stadium. Coach Li Tie's team continued to maintain its brilliant record of winning all warm-up matches.

With the two warm-up matches behind them, the national football team will undergo a squad reshuffle, downsizing from the original 32 to a more streamlined lineup. The team will then depart for Sharjah to start the two matches of the Round of 12 against Oman and Australia. This trip to West Asia, the national football team will face a tougher test.

Early Battle in Shenzhen, National Football Team Wins 3-0

In the first warm-up match, the national football team's starting lineup was relatively stable at the back, including Yan Junling, Wang Shenchao, Jiang Guangtai, Zhu Chenjie, Zhang Linpeng and other strong players. In the midfield, Wu Xi and Xu Xin partnered the double back, Luo Guofu and Liu Binbin played on the side, and Zhang Yuning and Alan partnered the middle. Facing the Shenzhen team, the national soccer team took a 2-0 lead in the first half with goals from Luo Guofu and Zhang Yuning. In the second half, both sides rotated personnel, and finally the national football team won 3-0.

Finally, Wu Xinghan cut inside from the left and shot inside the penalty area in the 80th minute, giving the national soccer team a 2-1 comeback win.

Injuries improve, lineups streamlined

It is worth mentioning that, from the list of players appearing in the game, it can be seen that the two side defenders Wang Gang and Li Lei, who have been plagued by injuries before, as well as veteran Artemisia Junmin, have the conditions to make their debuts. The easing of injuries will help the country have a more ideal lineup for the two Top 12 matches in November.

It is reported that the vast majority of international players, including four goalkeepers, participated in the two warm-up matches and played more than 60 minutes. Li Tie head coach through the warm-up matches on the team's existing players status for a comprehensive examination.

According to Beijing Youth Daily, the team does not need to carry too many players as the trip to Sharjah is just two matches in a short period of time. Therefore, a few players such as Wei Shihao, Guo Tianyu and Yin Hongbo may not be available for the two matches in November. And the players who do not meet the requirements of the game for the time being will leave the team one after another from the 4th.
