In the first round of the F.A.C.A. Cup eighth-round match, which is known as the "derby of the Central League", Sichuan Jiuiu Niu won the match against Chengdu Rongcheng by 2-1 with the help of a precise header by Xia Dalong and a long-distance shot by Wang Qi. After the match, Li Yi, the head coach of Sichuan Jiuiu team, attended the press conference. Talking about the match, he said with emotion: "This year, the schedule of the Central League is compact, and the rest time of the players is extremely limited after 34 rounds of league matches. Especially after the completion of the third stage of the game, the team immediately transferred to Meizhou, closed training for ten consecutive days, it is very difficult. I would like to thank these players, they use the spirit of hard work to help the team refresh the history, and once again into the AFC Cup eight!"

After eliminating Chengdu Rongcheng, Sichuan Jiuniu will face the challenge of Chinese Super League powerhouse Henan Songshan Longmen in the quarterfinals.
