On October 22nd, the golden autumn day, there was good news from Vietnam: Hanoi's Civic Committee made the bold decision to open the doors to the public for two important matches at the My Dinh Stadium, where 12,000 enthusiastic fans (one-third of the stadium's total capacity) were able to come out and cheer on the Vietnamese team in their two World Cup matches against Japan and Saudi Arabia.

According to the tournament schedule, Vietnam will face Japan on November 11, followed by a challenge to Saudi Arabia on November 16th. Spectators entering the stadium will be required to show proof of double vaccination and a negative nucleic acid test report within 72 hours before the match, while strictly observing all precautionary measures.

This decision has undoubtedly injected a shot in the arm for the Vietnamese soccer team. Playing amidst the chants of the fans is a great mental support for Coach Park Hang-seo and his players. Captain Que Ngoc Hai has said publicly that the presence of fans not only adds great pressure to the team, but also motivates the team to strive for the best.

The organizing committee is going all out to make the final push for the upcoming match against Japan. This includes not only logistics such as ticket distribution, but also a detailed plan for the organization of the tournament to be submitted to the AFC.
