With the start of the Women's Super League in Kunming on October 19th, Peng Shimeng will continue to play in the remaining Women's Super League and other tournaments as a Guangdong women's soccer player. In an interview with our reporter, Peng shared her growth history and the behind-the-scenes story of joining the Meizhou Hakka Women's Football Club, and also revealed her desire to stay abroad in the future.
Soccer Magazine: Hello, Peng Shimeng! Learning that you joined Meizhou Hakka on September 30th, what are your plans for your future?
Peng Simeng: With the withdrawal of Suning Group, Jiangsu Women's Football Team has encountered a lot of challenges this year. It's a turnaround for me to join Meizhou Hakka in Guangdong, where I have a contract until the end of the year. The training here is great, my teammates are very warm and friendly to me, and I hope to contribute to the team in the next league.
What made you decide to join the GD women's soccer team?
Guangdong Meizhou Hakka Women's Football Team has a certain strength and stability, and we have played many times in the league before, so I am familiar with the team. Joining Guangdong Women's Football Team is not only a challenge for me, but also a valuable opportunity to improve myself.
