After about 3 days of adaptive adjustment, our men's football team will start their first outdoor training after returning home on October 18th at 3:30pm in Gusu. At this time, the core of the team's preparation has also shifted to the upcoming Round 5 of the 12-team tournament with Oman's away match. It is reported that, similar to the previous preparations in West Asia, our team's preparations in Gusau also focus on the rhythm. In order to ensure the effectiveness of training, the team plans to start teaching matches with some domestic clubs on the eve of the China-Africa match.

After a long journey of nearly 10 hours, carrying the

national soccer team

The team members' plane arrived in Shanghai at 1:38 p.m. Beijing time on October 14th. Although members of the team were quickly inspected for immunization upon arrival, it was early the next morning when the team arrived at the hotel in Gusu, as the results of the nucleic acid test for all members of the team were not available until that evening.

In view of the fact that the team members stayed in West Asia for nearly 50 consecutive days, the Chinese Football Association and the coaching staff decided that the team should rest for 3 days after arriving in Gusau. During this period, the players adjusted to jet lag on the one hand, and conducted physical recovery training on their own on the other.

In order to assist the players in quickly adapting to the time difference, the team has made special arrangements to synchronize their daily life with the domestic time. For example, players are encouraged to try to get up on time for breakfast and schedule lunch and dinner around 12 noon and 6 p.m.

On the afternoon of the 17th, most of the players had been doing strength training in the gym of the resident hotel. "Maintaining a proper amount of exercise can also help the team adjust to jet lag to a certain extent", a team source explained.

According to the plan, our team will have its first outdoor training at 3:30 p.m. on the 18th at the No. 2 and No. 3 venues of Taihu Lake Football Base near the hotel. It is understood that, in addition to Zhang Linpeng, who was injured in the Sino-Saudi match, most of the other players will be able to participate in this joint training. The left back Li Lei, who has been training alone due to an injury, is recovering well, and whether he can join the training will depend on the situation on the field.

As with previous phases of training, our team's "first practice" will be based on "wake-up" content, training intensity is moderate. With the deepening of the preparation, the team's next training intensity will gradually increase. It is worth mentioning that the recent weather conditions in Gusu are very pleasant, and the players' mood for preparation is also quite comfortable.

Combined with the situation of the first four rounds of the 12 rounds of the tournament, our coaching team headed by Li Tie made an in-depth summary of the technical and tactical content, and plans to combine the characteristics of the opponents of the two rounds of the tournament in November to further improve the preparation program.

Although affected by the epidemic, our team is difficult to arrange international warm-up matches during the training period, but in order to test the effect of preparation, the coaching team still put forward a request to organize a warm-up. At present, some of the Chinese Super League clubs are expected to have teaching matches with the national football team.
