With only two days left to go before the Vietnam-China match, the national soccer team actually only has tonight to rigorously rehearse their tactics, excluding the adaptation-based warm-up training the day before the event. With the return of Wu Lei and several injured players joining the squad, Li Tie now has 30 players to choose from. However, Li Lei, who is alone on the sidelines for recovery training, and Zhu Chenjie, who has missed several days of outdoor training, may not be available for the match against Vietnam.

Since the assembly in August, Li Lei has been troubled by an old injury to the muscle at the back of his thigh. Nevertheless, he traveled with the team to Doha with a good recovery. However, during the high-intensity training in September, he showed signs of muscle fatigue and the possibility of recurrence of the old injury, so he has been in a separate recovery state. As of the evening of October 4, Li Lei has been able to carry out high-intensity physical fitness and ball-carrying training with the assistance of a physical trainer, and it is expected that he will soon return to joint practice.

In comparison, Zhu Chenjie's injury recovery will take longer. In the 1-1 warm-up match between the national football team and Syria on September 30, he suffered an unfortunate leg injury. Initial diagnosis by the medical team showed that the injury did not injure ligaments or bones, but Zhu Chenjie received stitches that night due to the depth of the wound. He missed three training sessions on October 2, 3 and 4 while recuperating in the hotel. At the moment, it seems difficult for Zhu Chenjie to catch the match against Vietnam.

In the last round against Japan, the team's only "after 00" players at risk, with stable play to prove their strength in the first round of the 12 strong. Originally, the coaching staff planned to use Zhu Chenjie and Jiang Guangtai's center back combination to deal with Vietnam. However, with Zhu Chenjie's injury, Li Tie's deployment of the back line had to make adjustments, Zhang Linpeng's recovery is good, his comeback is logical to become the first choice of the right back.
