
On September 25th, at 7:30pm Beijing time, a highly-anticipated Women's National Games Adult Final was played between Olympic United and Shanghai. Shortly after the start, Xiao Yuyi scored the first goal for Olympic United with a wonderful breakthrough, and despite the fierce battle between the two sides in the middle of the field, Olympic United finally won the Games with a narrow 1-0 advantage over Shanghai, and was honored as the champion of the Games.
In the semifinals, the Olympic Union team thrashed Beijing 4-0 to advance to the finals, while Shanghai eliminated host Shaanxi on penalties to meet the Union team in the final.
The match was played in the pouring rain and neither team was able to create a great scoring opportunity in the opening period. In the 11th minute, Olympic United launched an attack in the middle of the field.
