In the recent soccer circle, a heavy news detonated public opinion. The Chinese Super League powerhouse, Wuhan Football Salon, has been severely penalized by the CFA for violating relevant regulations. Since September 24, 2021, Wuhan has been suspended from all player registrations until corrective measures are completed.
In the penalty announcement, the FA said that Wuhan Football Salon failed to fulfill the (2021) FA Ruling No. 33 of the CFA Ruling Committee and the (2021) FA Disciplinary Committee's (2021) FA Disciplinary No. 97 penalty resolution on time. According to Article 79 and Article 12 of the CFA Disciplinary Guidelines, the CFA Disciplinary Committee made the following decision:
From September 24, 2021, Wuhan Football Salon and all of its affiliated Men's 11-a-side teams (from the first team to all levels of youth teams) are prohibited from registering new players. This ban will last until Wuhan Football Salon completes its rectification and is recognized by the FA.
The Association calls on all relevant parties to respect and strictly implement the effective resolutions or judgments of the CFA, the Court of Arbitration for Sport, FIFA and the Asian Football Confederation, and to work together to maintain the order of the tournament and a favorable environment for the development of soccer.
