September 24, Beijing Guoan legendary striker Jonathan Soriano, stepped through the 36-year-old life of a new starting point, through social media officially blew the horn of retirement, drew the end of his brilliant career as a player.

Soriano through a video, recalled his own in the green field bits and pieces, and with "grateful soccer! The deep confession of "Thanks to football!", explaining the inexorable relationship with soccer.

Born in 1985, Soriano, a gem of Spanish soccer, has shown his talent on the pitch, having moved through such prestigious clubs as Espanyol, Almeria, Sporting Ejido, Albacete, Barcelona B, and Salzburg.

From 2017 to 2019, Soriano made a splash on the Beijing Guoan stage. His transfer fee at the time was a whopping €15 million, according to data from the German transfer market. During his time at Guoan, Soriano appeared in 36 games, scoring 31 goals and contributing six assists, making him an indispensable scoring weapon for the team.

Prior to his retirement, Soriano played for Spanish lower division team Castellón. After his contract expired, he failed to find a new owner, and after much deliberation, he made the decision to retire.

It is worth noting that during his time with Red Bull Salzburg, Soriano scored 172 goals and dished out 72 assists, honoring him as the team's all-time leading scorer. Therefore, on the occasion of his retirement, Red Bull Salzburg's official Twitter account also posted a message of blessing, "May you have all the best in your retirement, Captain!"
