Continued stay in Western Asia. This was both because of the segregation policy for entry and to make it easier to find warm-up opponents. However, the CFA's plan did not go as planned. As it was not an international competition day, the national teams of various countries did not concentrate and therefore could not provide warm-up opportunities for the Chinese team. According to sources, the CFA has tried to contact the soccer associations of Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Iraq, UAE, Lebanon, Iran and Uzbekistan, but to no avail. The FA had also considered playing matches against club teams from the UAE and other countries, but clubs had to put warm-ups on the back burner due to the tight league schedule.
