Members traveled through the training ground to prepare for the upcoming challenges. Qi Jun, the head of our delegation's epidemic prevention team, faced the camera and elaborated on the team's epidemic prevention strategy.

Qi Jun emphasized: "This Sharjah training, the national team and the Football Association's collaborative team faced unprecedented challenges, and the months-long closed training was unprecedented. But thanks to the accumulation of experience in June, our performance in Sharjah calm and collected. The New Crown epidemic is raging globally, particularly in West Asia, and the high number of New Crown patients in the UAE has put enormous pressure on the team. We have optimized our anti-epidemic measures and are seeking to reduce our exposure to the outside world."

This time in the Novotel Convention Center Hotel, Qi Jun said: "Although the hotel is not large, but warm and comfortable, in order to prevent the epidemic safety, we will be the whole package. The small space is big to ensure isolation from the outside world. Service staff and drivers are staying in the hotel and living together. We conduct regular nucleic acid tests to ensure the safety of the people in the hotel. When the team takes a break, whether it's a walk on the beach or an activity, we ensure that we move collectively and avoid contact with the outside world. This is exactly the 'tournament bubble management' advocated by the AFC, and if the country hosts a home game, we will also adopt this model to ensure epidemic prevention and safety."

On October 7, our team will face Vietnam as the home team. Chi Jun revealed, "When the Vietnamese team arrives in the UAE, we will adopt 'tournament bubble management' to ensure their immunization and safety. Related personnel, including AFC officials and referees, will also follow this model."

Qi Jun also mentioned that the delegation is learning about Saudi Arabia's anti-epidemic policy to ensure a smooth transfer to Jeddah: "After the tournament, the team will move to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia's epidemic prevention policy is equally strict, and we will adopt 'tournament bubble management'. After entering Saudi Arabia, there is also a strict testing process, including waiting for the results at the hotel, to ensure that anti-epidemic measures are in place."

However, the toughest challenge, according to Qi Jun, is how the team will return home: "We returned to Shanghai from Dubai for the Top 40, and the testing was very strict to ensure that the risks were kept out of the country."

When asked about the percentage of epidemic prevention supplies in the team's luggage, Qi Jun replied, "We have prepared enough epidemic prevention supplies for three months, about 60 pieces, including masks, face masks, disinfectants and so on. Due to the concern that the supplies purchased from abroad do not meet the requirements, but it seems that we may not be able to use them all."
