The 2021 season of the Central League fixtures revealed

The 2021 season of the Central League is based on a conference system, and the tournament is divided into four major chapters, completing a total of 34 rounds of exciting matches (10 rounds, 8 rounds, 8 rounds, 8 rounds and 8 rounds respectively).

In a stirring first chapter, teams from three cities (Chengdu Rongcheng, Meizhou Hakka, and Wuhan Sanzhen) served as hosts. The three seeded teams were drawn by lot to determine the Groups A, B, and C to which they belonged, while the remaining 15 teams were serpentine and directly assigned to Groups A, B, and C based on the 2020 league standings. Six teams from each group will play a double round-robin tournament in the same division, with a total of 10 rounds of matches resulting in a total of 90 exciting matchups.

For Chapters 2 through 4, teams will rotate based on their performance in the first phase. Each stage is divided into three groups, with double round-robin matches within the groups (teams from the same group in the first stage will not play each other again). Eight rounds of matches will be played in each phase of the second through fourth chapters, for a total of 72 matches.

The promotion quota for this season's Central League is set at 2+0.5+0.5. The top two teams will advance directly, while the third and fourth place teams will have to play a play-off against the bottom two and third place teams of the Chinese Super League to determine the final line-up for the 2022 season.
