On July 27, a piece of news stirred up waves in the soccer world: Beijing Youth Daily disclosed that as of the night of July 26, the CFA had not yet submitted to the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) detailed arrangements for the home matches of the 12-team tournament.

It is reported that the CFA has listed Shanghai and Suzhou as the top candidate cities for the home stadium of the 12-team tournament, and the Preparation and Guarantee Working Group has completed its first round of inspections for the venues and alternative hotels in Shanghai. However, Beiqing revealed that as of the evening of the 26th, the CFA has yet to submit a complete plan for the organization of the tournament to the AFC. It is believed that the home stadium program for the 12-team tournament has been submitted to higher authorities for review. Once the approval comes down, the CFA will officially submit it to AFC.

Meanwhile, FIFA's official website was updated on the night of the 26th with information on the schedule for the Qatar World Cup Asian Zone 12, showing that Australia's first-round match against China has been brought forward to September 1 from the originally scheduled September 2nd. The match will be held at Sydney's Bankwest Stadium, kicking off at 14:00 local time.

However, after verification, Beiqing pointed out that the information on FIFA's official website contains obvious errors. If the Australian Football Association unilaterally proposes to bring forward the home match day, it needs to obtain the consent of the CFA. At present, the two associations have not yet started exchanges in this regard. It is assumed that the information on FIFA's website may be "self-contradictory", or it may have been predetermined based on the preliminary intentions of the participating associations, and the information will be updated after the detailed fixtures and venues have been confirmed.
