Beiqing-Beijing headline reporter revealed that during the Top 40, the CFA has set up six major working groups, namely epidemic prevention, competition, business, logistics, media and foreign affairs, in order to ensure that the national team's preparations for the tournament are worry-free. The head of each group is personally responsible for the relevant departments of the CFA to ensure the execution and efficiency of the work. At the same time, the head of the financial department of the CFA, Mr. He Xiaofeng, also traveled to West Asia with the team to ensure that any problems or difficulties in the front of the team can be resolved in a timely manner.
With the national football team advancing into the Qatar World Qualifier Asian Zone 12, the CFA's working group has also been upgraded to the 12 strong match protection team. The CFA held a meeting to clarify the next division of tasks for each team leader on the one hand, and summarize the work plan and progress of each team on the other.
According to the plan, the national football team will regroup on August 18 at the latest to prepare for the 12-team tournament starting on September 2nd. With just over a month left for the start of the tournament, the choice of home ground has become a top priority.
In fact, before and after the announcement of the group draw results for the Top 12, the CFA and the Chinese team preferred to have their home stadium in Shanghai. After all, the Chinese women's soccer team in the Olympic tournament play-offs and the Chinese men's soccer team in the second half of the 40-team tournament with Guam, the participants are from the city of Shanghai entry and exit, and the city of Shanghai in the tournament epidemic prevention and other aspects of the game process has accumulated successful experience.
However, due to the epidemic and other force majeure factors, the Chinese Football Association in the design of the 12 strong home game plan, but also must do a good job of full planning. It is reported that the FA has taken Suzhou City as the second alternative home field.
As for the "third-party neutral venue alternative" mentioned by the AFC, the CFA is not without consideration. However, at this stage, both the Association and the Chinese team's coaching staff are doing their best to keep the team's home matches in their home country. If the "local match" plan is ultimately not feasible, the CFA will launch other alternative plans.
It is reported that the national football 12 strong match home field selection work has now entered the plan to submit to the higher authorities for approval stage. It should be noted that, due to the importance of the epidemic prevention work, the national football home field plan declaration work is similar to the Super League restart declaration work, all need to go through a strict procedure, and get the approval of the higher authorities before implementation. After the plan is approved, the CFA will report to the AFC.
Considering the complexity of the current global epidemic and the severity of the epidemic prevention work in each country (region), the AFC has suggested that participating member associations submit their plans for the home matches of the teams in the 12-team tournament as early as possible, but it has not mandated a specific deadline for the submission of the plans. Like our FA, participating member associations such as the Vietnam Football Association (VFA), the Australian Football Federation (AFF) and the Japan Football Association (JFA) are also actively seeking support from their governments and maintaining real-time communication with the AFC. They are also yet to submit detailed plans to AFC.
