Title: Our women's soccer team prepares for Brazil, grateful for Japan's thoughtful security

On the 19th, our women's soccer team continued to train in Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture, Japan, in preparation for the upcoming 21st Tokyo Olympics women's soccer group stage Group F first match against Brazil.

China's women's soccer team departed from Beijing on the 17th and arrived in Miyagi, Japan at 2:00 a.m. on the 18th after a flight of about 20 hours. 18th morning, the whole team began recovery training. 19th afternoon, the whole team had a group confrontation.

In an interview with Xinhua News Agency, women's soccer head coach Jia Xiuquan said that the team has conducted simulation training mainly for the first match against Brazil in the past two days, hoping to better understand the opponent and confidently play the characteristics of China's women's soccer team.

"The team is in great spirits now and has largely recovered from the boat ride today. We are ready for the match." Jia Xiuquan said.

Despite the fact that it took about 20 hours to travel from Beijing to Miyagi, Jia expressed his understanding of Japan's strict anti-epidemic measures. "Even though we are a little bit slower (to get out of customs), but it's still the same thing, human life is the most important, health comes first, epidemic prevention comes first."

Regarding the connecting arrangements from Tokyo to Miyagi, Jia expressed his gratitude to the Tokyo Organizing Committee for the Olympic Games, "The staff cared for us in every way, and were very thoughtful and enthusiastic, including equipping us with a bus with a bathroom, as well as letting us have bento (boxed lunch) in the parking lot. The box lunch was made with great care and attention, and we were deeply touched by the richness of the dishes in our country's flavor."

Title: Olympic village Fukushima ingredients into the "blind box", after the closing ceremony to release the origin of the

According to the Tokyo News on July 18, taking into account the "opposition of some countries", the main cafeteria in the Tokyo Olympics athletes' village to give up the promotion of Fukushima ingredients, and instead, all ingredients are not labeled with the place of origin.

In another cafeteria, ingredients from Fukushima are not presented separately, although they are labeled by city, town, and village. As a result, the ingredients of the Olympic Village have become "blind boxes".

Olympic organizing committee officials said they intend to wait until after the closing to announce which menus used Fukushima ingredients during the Olympics.

It has been reported that in the Tokyo Olympics Competitors' Village, located in the central district of Tokyo, many competitors eat in the "Main Dining Room," a cafeteria that operates 24 hours a day. In addition to Western and Asian cuisine, the cafeteria also has a menu that takes vegetarianism and religion into account, but without exception, none of the ingredients are labeled as to their origin.

In addition, there is a "casual restaurant" in the Athletes' Village that uses only Japanese ingredients. The casual restaurant is divided into eight regions throughout Japan, and ingredients from these eight regions are used on a rotating basis, while ingredients from the three prefectures of Fukushima, Miyagi, and Iwate are categorized separately and used on a daily basis. All ingredients are labeled with their place of origin by city, town and village.

Instead of having posters and space dedicated to Fukushima ingredients, the casual dining restaurant introduces a mix of "Tokyo-produced" and "Fukushima-produced" ingredients.

The Japanese government had planned to use this Tokyo Olympics to publicize the safety of Fukushima food, but it was opposed by some countries. According to the organizing committee, it was intended to further publicize the revival of Fukushima, but some countries were reluctant to eat Fukushima-produced food on the grounds of radioactive substances.

According to a June 29 report by the Korea Center Daily, Japan's organizing committee for the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics announced that it will use specialties from 47 prefectures across Japan to provide ingredients for the athletes' village restaurant, with Fukushima halibut appearing on the shortlist.

In this regard, the Korean delegation said that in order to ensure the dietary safety of the athletes, it decided to strictly control the food ingredients provided in the Athletes' Village and decided to provide Korean athletes with their own boxed lunches.

In response, Masao Uchihori, the governor of Fukushima Prefecture in Japan, criticized at a press conference on the 19th, saying, "Misunderstandings and prejudices should be eliminated, so that people can recognize the correct information." According to him, vegetables and fruits produced in Fukushima Prefecture have not been detected exceeding the standard for eight consecutive years.
