The beacon is about to be rekindled. on July 11th, Shanghai Harbour Football Club held a media open event, in which vice-chairman Sun Xiang revealed in an interview that the team may face serious staff vacancies in the upcoming league matches.
On behalf of Harbour Club, Sun Xiang firstly expressed a warm welcome to the return of the international players. "The three international players have returned to the team and we are immensely proud of them for helping the national team break through in the Top 40. We also look forward to them continuing to play for the national team and fight for our country's glory."
Talking about the upcoming league, Sun Xiang admitted that the intensive schedule poses a great challenge. For the Harbor team, the difficulties are even tougher. "Arnautovic and Muy have not yet returned to the team, Maes is in Europe to heal, Liu Zhurun will join the National Games team next week, which undoubtedly brings a huge test to our lineup. Nonetheless, all the players are full of confidence and we will unite as one to overcome the difficulties and show the fighting spirit of the Harbor Team on the field to bring the fans a wonderful duel."
Muy returned to Scotland for vacation during the league break, but had to return to Australia from Scotland again due to a sudden change in his family. On Muy's return, Sun Xiang revealed: "Muy is now going through the relevant procedures. Due to his brother's health problems, he had to return to Australia from Scotland and has to comply with the local quarantine policy. We are stepping up to assist him with his return."
