The night of July 9 witnessed the draw for the fifth edition of the time-barred U23 Asian Cup qualifiers under the glittering stars of Uzbekistan. China's U23 national team was grouped with Australia, Indonesia and Brunei in the extravaganza, with the competition set to kick off in October 2021 in Indonesia.

In Group G of the East Asian zone, four teams converged, including Australia, the Indonesian hosts and Brunei, in addition to our country. Groups H, I, J and K, on the other hand, each have fierce competition brewing. South Korea, Singapore host, Vietnam, Myanmar, our Hong Kong, our Taipei host, Thailand, Malaysia, Laos, Mongolia (host), North Korea, Japan, Cambodia, each team with their own stories and dreams are about to compete on this stage.

Groups A through F in the West Asia region are equally star-studded. Syria, Qatar hosts, Yemen, Sri Lanka, Iran, Tajikistan hosts, Lebanon, Nepal, Iraq, Bahrain hosts, Afghanistan, Maldives, Saudi Arabia, Bangladesh, Kuwait hosts, UAE hosts, Oman, India, Kyrgyzstan, Jordan, Palestine, Turkmenistan, all of these teams are going to write an exciting chapter in the West Asia Zone.

The passionate clash of 42 teams is divided into two regions, East and West Asia, with 23 teams in West Asia and 19 teams in East Asia. Five groups in the East Asian region, four teams dance together, and the other group is unique, the three strongest competition.

The "centralized conference system" will dominate the tournament, with teams completing all group matches at designated venues. Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Qatar, Tajikistan and the United Arab Emirates (West Asia); and Taipei, Indonesia, Mongolia and Singapore (East Asia) will be the places where dreams will take off.

The 11 group winners from the qualifying rounds, plus the four best group second-place finishers (the fifth group second will qualify if Uzbekistan takes a seat), will join host Uzbekistan in the final round of the fifth U23 Asian Cup, which will be held from June 1 to 19, 2022.

China's 99-age U23 national team, participating in the draw as the second slot, was divided as follows: first slot: South Korea, Australia, Thailand, North Korea, Vietnam; second slot: Japan, China, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore; third slot: Hong Kong, Indonesia, Laos, Timor-Leste, Cambodia; fourth slot: Taipei, Mongolia, the Philippines, Macao, China, Brunei, Guam, the Northern Marianas. .
