After much heated discussion, the remaining fixtures and format for this season's Chinese Super League were finally finalized. As speculated, this year's league will have to be shortened to 22 rounds instead of the original 30.

The 6th round of the Chinese Super League had to be postponed due to the adjustment of the venue for the 40-team tournament, and the tournament, which was originally scheduled to start on June 21, was eventually postponed to mid-July. In today's preparatory work meeting, the official announcement of the Chinese Super League will restart the war on July 18, and on August 12 to complete the first phase of the remaining 6 to 14 rounds of the tournament. It is worth mentioning that the bye matches between Henan Songshan and Guangzhou and Beijing Guoan and Hebei will also be played on July 15 and 16 respectively.

In order to ensure the smooth running of the 12-team tournament, there will be no more Premier League matches scheduled from September to November. This year's league will be shortened from three phases to two. after the 14 rounds of the first phase on August 12, the eight rounds of the second phase will be played from December 1 to January 3 of the following year. The final ranking of the season will be determined by the total points of the two phases. It is worth noting that this will be the first time in the history of the Chinese Super League that the league will be held across years.
