Turkish media broke the powerful news that Brazilian striker Fernando of Chinese Super League giants Beijing Guoan is on the verge of transferring to Turkish Super League rivals Besiktas. At the same time, Guoan is also actively seeking the addition of Argentine striker Ramon Mijeres.
After a lengthy communication with Fernando's agent, Besiktas has reached an agreement with the player, but the transfer is still subject to coach Yalcin's final approval. If Yalcin gives the nod, Besiktas will invite Fernando to Istanbul in the near future to finalize the signing of a three-year contract with an annual salary of up to €1.6 million.
Surprisingly, there was also news not long ago that a Chinese club had thrown an olive branch to Yalcin in the hope that the coach who led his team to the Double Championships would come to the Chinese Super League to take the helm.
Croatian media disclosed that Guoan boss Bilic recommended the club to bring in 24-year-old Argentinean goal scorer Ramon Mijeres from Croatian top league side Osijek. Mijeres scored 22 goals last season and won the Golden Boot award in the Croatian domestic league. Because of this, Osijek signed him from Spain's Alaves for a record 2.5 million euros.
After obtaining the ownership of Mijeres, Osijek made it clear that if you want to sell the Argentine striker, the transfer fee is not less than 10 million euros. Croatian media revealed that Guoan's offer is slightly lower than this, but once the transfer is reached, there will be 20% of the transfer fee to Alaves, and if Mijeres again transfer, Osijek can also get a share of the soup. In addition, the Croatian media pointed out that Guoan is not the only club to Mijeres olive branch, the Chinese Super League is facing unprecedented complexity in attracting reinforcements.
