Late in the night, the CFA released a heavy news, announcing the emergency call-up of five players to the U20 national team and asking them to play with the team in the China B League. The decision instantly sparked widespread discussion, not least because four of the five players have already appeared in the Chinese League One several times this year.

The FA explained in the notice that due to the need for some players to play with their clubs in the AFC Champions League, as well as individual players suffering from injuries, the coaching staff, after careful consideration, decided to call up five players, namely Changchun Yatai's Abdullah Abdillah, Suzhou Dongwu's Efirdin Esqal, Beijing North Physical Fitness University's Tian Yuda and Zong Keyi, as well as Nanjing City's Zheng Xuejian.

Looking back to last season, the FA had already arranged for the National Youth Football Team to join the China B League, and given the marginal position of these young players in their respective clubs, their return to the National Youth Football Team to participate in training and matches would not have too great an impact on their parent teams, so there was little disagreement from the outside world. This year, the situation is similar, early this month, the Football Association issued the third phase of the national youth team training notice, called up 27 players to participate in the first stage of the first phase of the second round of the 8th to 14th round of matches.

A total of five Guoan players were involved in the previous China B game, and now they have been recalled by the club to participate in the AFC Champions League, coupled with injury problems, the manpower shortage of the National Youth Football Team had to urgently recruit players to cope with the upcoming China B tournament. However, four of the five drafted players have made frequent appearances in the Central League, allowing them to be "relegated" to the Central League B to receive exercise, which undoubtedly triggered a lot of controversy.
