In a recent documentary depicting Wang Frost's growth trajectory, her resilient mother, Guo Fang, looks back fondly on her daughter's early, uprooted soccer career.

In the interview, Guo Fang recalled: "At that time, the environment for playing soccer could be described as tough, the field was covered with tiny stones, either bruising her arms or stepping on her toes, and her knees were even more bruised, and the scars were not yet dry and were worn out again. Other children have given up one after another, even the boys are gone, but she always insisted alone, until she was satisfied. What others learned in three days, she mastered in one day." Wang Frost's father also added with emotion, "Her perseverance in practicing soccer is really admirable; when others are resting, she is still sweating on the field."
