Portuguese newspaper Record has revealed that FC Porto has recognized Beijing Guoan's request for a transfer of Minjae Kim. The Portuguese Premier League powerhouse is currently in talks with Kim over personal terms. If all goes well, the transfer deal will be imminent.

Kim Min-Ja, 24, joined Beijing Guoan in early 2019 for a transfer fee of €5.25 million, with his contract with the team set to expire at the end of the year. Earlier, it was reported that with his outstanding performance at Guoan, Kim Min Jae attracted the attention of Tottenham Hotspur and Juventus.

However, Porto seems to be closer to becoming the new owner of Kim Min Ja. Portuguese media reported that Porto has reached a preliminary agreement with Guoan for Kim Min Ja, but the details of the individual contract still need to be further negotiated. In response, a Korean journalist commented, "There seems to be no bottom line in the media game played by agents, but one day they will find the right direction." (Cho Oyu)
