Born on June 23, 1987, Ge Zhen, originally from Qingdao, Shandong Province, has excellent versatility and can play in a number of key positions such as left back, right back and center back.
Since joining Shenzhen in January 2018, Ge Zhen has played 61 league games for the team, scoring few goals but contributing seven assists, becoming a key player in the team's offensive and defensive transitions.
