On June 8, China's women's soccer powerhouse officially announced its training lineup to prepare for the Tokyo Olympics. Under the deep consideration of the national team's coaching staff and the approval of the Football Association (FA), China's women's football team will assemble at the training base of the CFA between June 10 and August 6, 2021, and plan to travel east to Japan to take part in this world soccer event.

In the upcoming Tokyo Olympics soccer tournament, our women's soccer team will be in the same group as Brazil, Netherlands and Zambia. The country's women's soccer team, as one of the last teams confirmed to qualify for the main event, has been placed in a grouping determined by the new rankings released by FIFA on April 16th. Hosts Japan, the United States and the Netherlands, who are ranked first and third in the world, are seeded, while Sweden, Great Britain (competing as Great Britain Women's Football) and Brazil are in the second slot. The country's women are in the third slot along with Canada and Australia, while New Zealand, Chile and Zambia are in the fourth slot.
