At 4:00pm on June 5th, a poorly formed Shandong Taishan team faced the visiting Wuhan soccer team at their home training base. In this tense warm-up match, young player Zhang Yuanshu successfully scored a goal, and finally, under the tactical command of Hao Wei, Taishan shook hands with Wuhan, coached by Li Xiaopeng, with a score of 1-1.

Since May 27th, Taishan's coaching team and players have begun targeted preparations. Seven players, including Artemisia Junmin, Jin Jingdao, Wu Xinghan, Wang Dalei, Ji Xiang, Liu Binbin and Zheng Zheng, traveled to the United Arab Emirates with the Chinese national soccer team, while another youngster Guo Tianyu joined the U22 Chinese national soccer team, and South Korean midfielder Son Junho represented the South Korean national team in the Top 40 of the World Qualification Tournament. Despite the loss of these nine core players, the remaining players are still fully engaged in their preparation under the careful guidance of the coaching staff. The match against Wuhan was to test the effectiveness of the recent training and assess the players' condition.

In the 30th minute of the first half, Zhang Qi sent a precise cross from the side, Leonardo jumped up to take a header, but Wuhan's goalkeeper solved it. In the second half, in the 26th minute, Taishan launched an attack in front of the field, and Zhang Yuanshu got a chance to shoot a long-distance shot straight to the dead corner of the goal, helping the team to score first. As the match came to an end, Wuhan scored a goal in a melee in the penalty area to equalize the score. In the end, the two sides drew 1-1.

It is especially worth mentioning that Zhang Yuanshu, who made a mark for Taishan in the warm-up matches, also had a goal scoring record during the winter training camp in Guangzhou that year. So, let's wait and see if his outstanding performance in the warm-up matches can win Hao Wei's favor.
