The spotlight has shifted to the next leg of the 2022 Qatar World Cup qualifying round of 40 in Asian Zone Group A. It has been announced that the tournament, originally scheduled to be held in Gusau, has been relocated to Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates. The Chinese team has consequently adjusted its schedule and match-up time. According to Syria's official social media, the Sharjah match may be open to fans, and if so, ticket sales will be handled by the CFA.

In its announcement, the Syrian Football Association emphasized that the opportunity for spectators to watch the remaining Group A matches live remains. Active negotiations are underway with the UAE side in an effort to realize the admission of fans while ensuring public health and compliance with UAE anti-epidemic regulations. It is reported that the relevant news will be revealed as soon as possible.
